Great Promise for 2007!

Scripture

Luke 1:37 “For nothing is impossible with God."


Observation

Since we are so limited in what we can do in our own strength it is hard to imagine that we have a Heavenly Father that has no limitations. Nothing is too hard for Him! He is the one that created this world from nothing. If we create something it always has to be from something, but we have help from the One that can create something out of nothing!

Application

What has God laid on your heart to accomplish this year? I hope that it is so big that it is “impossible” without His help!


Prayer

Heavenly Father, place on my heart things that are so big that they can only be accomplished by and through You! I pray that our church will be able to accomplish some “impossible” things this year because of our faith in You!

One of the things that I have enjoyed this past year is to listen to the passages being read while I read along. Just click "listen to the passage". This is not available in all translations, but it is excellent in the NIV translation! Try it...it is habit forming!
