Devotional Thoughts for The Day ... By Pastor Eddy Williams
Let me encourage you to begin to use a Life Journal in your daily Bible study. This simple tool utilizes a Bible reading plan (I use Online Devotions found at http://enewhope.org/bible/) together with a journal and a straightforward and very simple way of recording what you sense the Lord is teaching through daily readings. Each day I take a Scripture from that day’s reading, then I write an Observation about it, then I decide on an Application, and then I write a simple Prayer to pray what I have learned back to God. S.O.A.P.
I learned to use this method from hearing Pastor Wayne Cordeiro talk about how important this wonderful habit is in his life. This life journal blog has helped me tremendously in my spiritual journey. If you start a life journal and you are writing it on a blog please let me know. I would love to take a minute to read your blog too. And I would love to add you to my list of Life Journalers!

Eddy,Awesome!! These look alot like the ones I took in Monterrey Mexico. I have been posting some on my blog as well. I cant wait to hear more of your trip!! My Mission trip was awesome.
Thanks Eddy! The photos are awesome! The memories are even better!! I was heartbroken when I left my camera at home, but now I get the pleasure of seeing some of the photos I took with everyone else's camera and I also get to see things through everyone else's eyes!
I can't wait to go back next year! I can certainly understand why you and Kathy spent so much time in Mexico. I just pray that God will allow me to afford these trips without having to refinance my house again. No, actually, I should be in better shape to save now. I want to do as many mission trips as possible. If I didn't have the commitments that I do right now, I would go out on the mission field for a long period of time myself.
For now, at least while Zack is still a child, I have to stick around for now. At least I don't feel God pulling me out in the field full time yet anyway. But who knows, one day......
Luv Ya Guys! Can't wait for Cuba!
