Psalm 20

4 May he grant your heart’s desires
and make all your plans succeed.
5 May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory
and raise a victory banner in the name of our God.
May the LORD answer all your prayers.

Observation

Blessings are so important. Do you pray blessings on the people that you love? Who needs to be blessed today? Why not pray this blessing for them right now!
What are your heart’s desires? What plans do you have for this week? What battle is being fought in your life this week? What prayers do you need answered? The Lord can take care of every thing going on in your life this week. May He bless you and me as we put Him first in all the stuff coming at us this Monday.

I will pray this blessing for Kathy today as I go to work.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I know that praying blessings for people are very important I see how you honored the blessings of the men of the Old Testament. You blessed David and the people of Israel during his reign. You love to bless us and I know that you would rather bless us than discipline us. Help me live a life that you can bless and help me to be a blessing to others. Bless the people in our church and help them to be successful in their plans. Bless and protect our missionary friends and set free those believers that are being held prisoners for the Gospel in China, Korea, and the Sudan. In Jesus Name Amen.
