I Know That My Redeemer Lives!

Scripture

Job 19

25 “But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives,
and he will stand upon the earth at last.
26 And after my body has decayed,
yet in my body I will see God!
27 I will see him for myself.
Yes, I will see him with my own eyes.
I am overwhelmed at the thought!

Observation

Do you know that your Redeemer lives? Do you have a Redeemer? Have you been redeemed?

This is an amazing declaration of faith that Job makes. Can you make the same declaration?

I can. And I will.

Application

I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last.
And after my body has decayed, yet in my body I will see God! I will see him for myself. Yes, I will see him with my own eyes. I am overwhelmed at the thought!

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I know that my Redeemer lives, and You will stand upon the earth at last. And after my body has decayed, yet in my body I will see You! I will see You for myself. Yes, I will see You with my own eyes. I am overwhelmed at the thought! Amen.
