The Lion Of The Tribe Of Judah …
Has
Won The Victory
Scripture
Revelation 5
5 But one of the twenty-four
elders said to me, “Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the
heir to David’s throne, has won the victory. He is worthy to open the scroll
and its seven seals.”
8 And when he took the scroll, the four living beings and
the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they
held gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.
9 And they sang a new song with these
words:
“You are worthy to take the scroll
and break its seals and open it.
For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed
people for God
from every tribe and language and people and nation.
10 And you have caused them to become
a Kingdom of priests for our God.
And they will reign on the earth.”
Observation
Jesus
has won the victory! His blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and
language and people and nation. As His priests all we have to do is go out to
the world and let them hear this Good News.
Don’t
live like you are on the losing team! We get to read how our story is going to
end! We are winners!
Jesus
paid the ransom to give us the victory! So “Stop weeping!” Lets enjoy today!
Application
I
will live out this day knowing that Jesus has already given me the victory!
Prayer
Heavenly
Father, thank You for allowing me to be one of Your “priest”. You have given us
Your message, Your Good News to share with the entire world. Help us to be
faithful to do just that! Give me the health to be Your witness. Give me Your
strength and Your heart for the people around me and for the people that live
in different places in the world. I pray for those living in India. I pray for
laborers to reach those living in that nation.
