The Angel
Of The Bottomless Pit;
His Name Is Abaddon, And In Greek He Is Called Apollyon. (Destroyer)
(There is an enemy and it is not your mate!)
Scripture
11 They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon. (The “Destroyer”)
Observation
There
is an enemy and it is not your mate! The angel of the bottomless pit wants to
destroy us and mess up our relationships.
26 “In your anger do not sin” Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold. Ephesians 4:26-27
Fights, arguments, and disagreements are all inevitable in a marriage relationship, but the enemy is not our mate. There is an enemy.
Spiritual warfare is very real.
Satan does not want us to experience what God intended for us to experience in marriage. He does not want us to have good relationships. He is the “destroyer”. His purpose is to wreck our lives. He is our enemy.
Kathy is the greatest gift that God has ever given me. Hope you can say that today about your spouse!

Prayer
Heavenly
Father, thank You for giving me Eternal life. Thank You for also giving me the
best wife in the world. I don’t deserve either one. I pray for those in our
church and those around us that still do not understand that their mates are
not the enemy. Open their eyes. Help them to love unconditionally. Help them to
love with Agape love. Help me to love with Agape love. Don’t let me be selfish.
Help me to have Your unfailing love for those around me.
