Who Encourages
Those Who Are Discouraged

Here is a good way to deal with discouragement! 

Scripture

2 Corinthians 7

⁶ But God, who encourages those who are discouraged, encouraged us by the arrival of Titus.

Observation

Discouragement! Everybody gets a good case of it every once and awhile!

Maybe you feel a little deflated today!

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Here is a good way to deal with discouragement! 

Think of someone that needs to be encouraged and give them a call, write them a note, take them a small gift, invite them out for breakfast, lunch, or supper. 

Get up and get moving. 

Help someone else and it will help you!

We never think of the Apostle Paul being discouraged, but he was! God sent him Titus as an encourager! 

Application

I will look for someone to encourage today. How about you?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, help those today who are dealing with depression and discouragement. Bring people into their lives that will pick them up. You command us to be bold and courageous. You tell us to trust in You. These are Your promises for me today.

 Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you. 1 Peter 5:7

That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. 2 Corinthians 4:16-17
