Use Your Worldly Resources
To Benefit Others
And Make Friends.

Scripture

Luke 16

Here’s the lesson: Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. Then, when your possessions are gone, they will welcome you to an eternal home.

10 “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.

11 And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? 12 And if you are not faithful with other people’s things, why should you be trusted with things of your own?

Observation

Who needs our help? Who can we help with what God has provided us?

Jesus says that you and I should use our worldly resources to benefit others. God has provided us with extra; He has given us more than we need so that we can be generous with others.
Lets not misspend it and miss the blessing!

It is a Win-Win for us when we are generous with others!

“For if you give, you will get! Your gift will return to you in full and overflowing measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use to give—large or small—will be used to measure what is given back to you.” Luke 6:38

Application

I will look for someone this week that needs some help. How about you?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I know that the word “stingy” should not describe me or anyone else that is born again. Help us to be generous. Help us to believe what You say about how we should use what we have. Show me who needs our help this week. I know that You provide for me more than I need and I know that You will provide even more if I will be generous with others.
