Anyone
Who
Believes In God's Son
Has
Eternal Life.
Scripture
John
3
36 And
anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who
doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains
under God’s angry judgment.”
Observation
Read
John 3:36 and as you read it put your name in place of the word
“anyone”.
Christmas
is all about the Savior Jesus Christ; it is all about His leaving
Heaven and coming down to be born as a human to save us from our
sins!
“Though
he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something
to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he
took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being.
When he appeared in human form...” Philippians 2:6-7
Do
you really want to celebrate Christmas the way God intended for it to
be celebrated?
To
do that you will need to accept God's Christmas Gift into your life –
God's Gift has a Name – His name is Jesus!
He
is Savior and Lord.
Application
I
thank God for giving me the very best gift – Eternal life. How
about you? Have you received the Gift?
Prayer
Heavenly
Father, I know that I have some friends that may read this blog today
and not all of them are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ yet. Open
up their hearts and their minds and show them that Your Word is truth
and what is says about Jesus is truth. Draw them to a relationship
with You. I want them to be able to really celebrate Christmas and I
know that they can only do that if they believe in the Savior. I also
pray for those who are struggling right now with sin. Help them to
make the right decisions. Give them strength to say no to the
temptations that are coming their way. Help them to walk in victory.
