You
Are Truly Free.

if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.
Observation
Freedom
always comes at a cost!
You
and I because we live in the USA have a lot of freedom. And it is
easy, way too easy, for us to forget the high cost that others have
paid for us to enjoy the freedoms we have.
Those
who serve in our military, and those who serve as “First
Responders” who protect us every single day deserve our respect.
But
right smack dab in the middle of all of this freedom that we enjoy in
our country ... not all of us are “free”. If you and I want to be
free indeed, if we want to be truly free, then we must surrender our
lives to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Only
by surrendering our lives to Jesus Christ and having a personal
relationship with Him … that is the only way that you and I can be
truly free. In a country where freedom reigns you and I can still be
slaves to sin!
Have
you been set free? Or are you still trying to live your life like God
does not exist?
Jesus
Christ died on a cross for you and He died on a cross for me. He paid
a high price to set us free from the slavery of sin!

Prayer
Heavenly
Father, thank You for the freedom that we experience in our country.
It is a far from perfect place, but that is because we are a far from
perfect people. Thank You for setting me free. I am no longer a slave
to sin. I pray for any person that may read this blog today. Help
them to acknowledge Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Savior so
that they can be set free from a life of selfish, sinful living. Open
up their spiritual eyes so that they can see and understand the Truth
today. “If the Son sets you free you are free indeed.”
