I
Have Become All Things To All People
So
That By All Possible Means
I
Might Save Some.
Scripture
1
Corinthians 9
22 To the
weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to
all people so that by all possible means I might save some. 23 I
do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its
blessings.
24 Do you
not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the
prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone
who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to
get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that
will last forever.
26 Therefore
I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like
a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body
and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I
myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
Observation
Everything
that the Apostle Paul did was to see others come to a saving
knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ! He challenges us to do the same
thing. Our lives are a race. It is not a wind sprint. It is a
marathon!
Here
is an important question!
When
we finish the race and cross the finish line who did we help to cross
the finish line with us? Who is going to be in Heaven because of me?
Who is going to be in Heaven because of you?
Application
I
will look for people to help so they can cross the finish line with
me.
How

Prayer
Heavenly
Father, help me to keep my focus on the people around me and not on
myself. I want to help someone else have a relationship with You.
Give me the boldness and the love to tell someone about You. Bring
people into my life that I can help. Give me the opportunity to share
with people the Good News of Jesus Christ.
