the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that
everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
Observation8-10
What
is your life verse? Matthew 5:16 is mine! It is a verse that I must
have memorized as a young child back when I walked to church with my
Granny. Doing good works will not get us to Heaven, but they will
bring glory to our Father in Heaven.
You
and I were created to do good works.
Lets
get out there and shine today!
Ephesians
2:8-10
8 For
it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and
this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not
by works, so that no one can boast.10 For we are God’s
handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which
God prepared in advance for us to do.
Galatians
6:9-10
Let
us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time
we will reap a harvest if we do not
give up. Therefore,
as we have opportunity, let us do good to
all people, especially to those who belong to the family of
believers.

Thessalonians 3:13
And
as for you, brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what
is good.

I
will look for ways to 'shine' today!

Prayer
Heavenly
Father, I know that the only way to serve You is to serve the people
around me. I am here on earth to do good works. I know it was why I
was created. It is why I continue to have breath! So help me to keep
the focus of my life off of myself and on the people that you bring
across my path.
