Is The Lord Of Heaven's Armies!

The Whole Earth Is Filled With His Glory!”

Scripture

Isaiah 6

1 It was in the year King Uzziah died[a] that I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple. 

2 Attending him were mighty seraphim, each having six wings. With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. 

3 They were calling out to each other,

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies!
    The whole earth is filled with his glory!”

4 Their voices shook the Temple to its foundations, and the entire building was filled with smoke.

5 Then I said, “It’s all over! I am doomed, for I am a sinful man. I have filthy lips, and I live among a people with filthy lips. Yet I have seen the King, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.”

6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. 

7 He touched my lips with it and said, “See, this coal has touched your lips. Now your guilt is removed, and your sins are forgiven.”

8 Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?”

I said, “Here I am. Send me.”

Observation

This is the day that the Lord has made we will rejoice and be glad in it! Today is Sunday! Let's get out of bed and get moving – this is a day set aside to worship! Don't feel like it – come and worship whether you feel like it or not! Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Heaven's armies!

He is worthy of all praise! Let's worship Him!

King of Kings and Lord of Lords – He is worthy!

Psalm 150

1 Praise the Lord!

Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heaven!

2 Praise him for his mighty works;
    praise his unequaled greatness!

3 Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn;
    praise him with the lyre and harp!

4 Praise him with the tambourine and dancing;
    praise him with strings and flutes!

5 Praise him with a clash of cymbals;
    praise him with loud clanging cymbals.

6 Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord!

Praise the Lord!

Application

My God is Holy. He is worthy of all praise!

2 Samuel 22:47

“The Lord lives! Praise to my Rock! May God, the Rock of my salvation, be exalted!

1 Chronicles 16:25

Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared above all gods.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, You are holy. There is no one like You! You are perfect. Help me to worship You today in a way that pleases You!

I pray for the sick. I pray that You heal them and give them strength. I pray for those who are grieving. I pray that You comfort them.

Psalm 77:13

“O God, your ways are holy. Is there any god as mighty as you?”

Psalm 145:3

Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness.

Revelation 4:11

“You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.”
