Was Thrown Into The Lake Of Fire

Scripture

Revelation 20

¹³ The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. All these people were judged by what they had done.
 
¹⁴ And Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death.
 
¹⁵ And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Observation

Hell is just as real as Heaven is! If you believe in Heaven then you should also believe that there is a real place called “Hell”

Hell is not for bad people and Heaven is not for good people! Even though you may think like that about those two places (as many people do) it doesn’t make it true!

Hell is for un-forgiven people and Heaven is for those who have been forgiven. The Bible says that we are all “bad”. 

    For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard. Romans 3:23

    For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 6:23

We all deserve to go to “Hell” when we die! But God loves us and offers us a way to have our sins forgiven.

    But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Romans 5:8

    But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.  John 1:12

Application

I will continue to share with people that “being good” does not get them to Heaven. 

Prayer

Heavenly Father, maybe someone reading this blog thinks that by being good enough they will get to go to Heaven. I pray that you open their eyes to see that they need Your forgiveness. They need to accept Your Son Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Open their eyes to the truth.
