A Person Down,
An Encouraging Word Cheers A Person Up.

Proverbs 12
25 Worry weighs a person down;
an encouraging word cheers a person up.
Observation
Encouragement,
we all need it! ‘Cause in this world there seems to be one problem, one crisis,
one right after another!
Good News … not to be found in the media, not in the
newspaper, not found on the Internet, nor on television or radio. All of these
sources of news pretty much all thrive on bad news and sinister conspiracy
theories!
You and I can make a difference in someone’s life today. We can
encourage someone that is weighed down with worry!
We can cheer them up!
Why
not take a minute today to write a note and send it to someone via snail mail
or make a phone call, send a text, or write an email.
Or we could even walk
across the street and say an encouraging word to one of our neighbors!

Don’t use foul or abusive
language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will
be an encouragement to those who hear them. Ephesians 4:29Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Colossians 4:2
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don't forget to thank him for his answers. [7] If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

will look for someone to encourage today. How about you?
Prayer
Heavenly
Father, it is so easy to get discouraged with everything that seems to come at
us. Problems seem to abound these days. Help me look for and find someone that
needs to be encouraged today. Help me to say just the right word that will lift
them up and give them hope! I pray for anyone that is reading this blog today
that may be discouraged or worried. I pray that You lift them up Lord. Fill
them with Your strength. Encourage them through Your Word. Bring people into
their lives that will encourage them.
