Let's Not Get Tired

Of Doing What is Good.

Scripture

Galatians 6

9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

10 Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.

Observation

I think that if we are going to put Galatians 6:9-10 into practice on a daily basis then you and I are going to have to be intentional about it.

So lets look back over last week … what did we do last week that was “good” for someone else?

Lets look back over the past month and add up all the “good” things that we did for other people.

What did we do today? What are we going to do this week? How do we plan on intentionally helping others this next month? Thanksgiving? Christmas? New Years?

Kathy and I have been so blessed by others … we have been overwhelmed by the kindness of others towards us and we both know that God wants us to be conduits of all that love and not containers!

You and I cannot out give God!

Application

I will look for the opportunity to share a random act of kindness with someone tomorrow.

How about you? Will you be a 'Conduit' or a 'Container'?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, help us share with others. Help us look for ways to do good. Don't let us miss an opportunity to do good. Thank You for all the people who have been so good to us. We have been showered with blessings. Help us do the same for the people that you place on our hearts. We know that when we are generous, when we are giving that is when we are most like You.
