1 Corinthians 15

58 So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.

1 Corinthians 16

13 Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. 14 And do everything with love.

Observation

I will not take the time this morning, but I wonder how many times Paul said, “be strong” in his letters to the churches. I know that it is a repeating theme.

I know that it was something that God said over and over again in the Old Testament too.

I must have the tendency to be weak! Yes, I believe I do so this is a very good Word for me today. Be Strong. Be Courageous. Stand firm and be immovable. Do everything in love and do everything enthusiastically for the Lord.

Application

I will be strong and I will stand firm today and I will do everything with enthusiasm and I will do it all for the Lord.

Prayer

Heavenly Father. Help me do what I just said that I plan to do today!
