Pray Constantly!
Give Thanks In Everything!

16 Rejoice always!
17 Pray constantly.
18 Give thanks in everything,
for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Observation
Always, Constantly, Everything! Those are tough words to
keep!
I remember that from where I am now sitting I could see
those words taped to my living room wall after my heart attack. Lets just say
that I was a bad patient. I was grumbling. I was as my kids described it “very
short” with them. They probably used stronger words than that to describe their
Dad when they were not around me! I was a jerk!
Those were good words back then and they are good words
for me now. Rejoice, Pray, Give Thanks … this is how God wants me to live
everyday!
Application
I will rejoice all day today. I will pray constantly all
day today. I will give thanks for everything that I can think of today. How
about you?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, Help me to live like You want me to
live. Help me to rejoice always. Help me to pray constantly. Help me to thank
You in everything.
