“This Is The 

LORD’s Doing

And It Is Wonderful To See”

Scripture

Matthew 21

⁴ This took place to fulfill the prophecy that said,

⁵ “Tell the people of Jerusalem,
    ‘Look, your King is coming to you.
He is humble, riding on a donkey—
    riding on a donkey’s colt.’”

⁶ The two disciples did as Jesus commanded. ⁷ They brought the donkey and the colt to him and threw their garments over the colt, and he sat on it.

⁸ Most of the crowd spread their garments on the road ahead of him, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. ⁹ Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, 

“Praise God for the Son of David!
    Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord!
    Praise God in highest heaven!”

¹⁰ The entire city of Jerusalem was in an uproar as he entered. “Who is this?” they asked.

¹¹ And the crowds replied, “It’s Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”

42b “…This is the Lord’s doing,
    and it is wonderful to see.”

Observation

The Pharisees couldn’t stand it! Jesus Christ was performing miracles all over the city and they were furious. People were being healed. People were celebrating as Jesus came into Jerusalem and they were praising Him and the Pharisees were furious. 

Jesus’ response to their anger was a quote from scripture, “The stone which the builders rejected Has become the corner stone” Psalm 118:22 

And it is a wonderful thing to see!

We are experiencing something at Christ Fellowship that very few Christians get to experience! 

God’s Holy Spirit has been moving powerfully within our church and it is a wonderful thing to see! 

I got a call from one of our men this week. He is so excited about what God is doing in his life and in the life of his wife. It is a wonderful thing to see! 

It is all because he started attending our church. His growth in Christ has been a wonderful thing to see!

I see God at work all around me and it is a wonderful thing to see!

 Application

I will look around me today to see where God is at work because it is a wonderful thing to see!

Prayer

Heavenly Father, if I am not careful I will miss and not see where You are working. I believe and I know that You are constantly working in the lives of people all around me – You never stop. You will not stop working in the lives of my children. You will never stop working in the lives of my neighbors. It is a wonderful thing to see. Don’t let me miss anything! I want to praise You for every life You change!
