Commit Everything You Do To The Lord.

Trust Him,

And He Will Help You.

Scripture

Psalm 37

3 Trust in the Lord and do good.
Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.

4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you your heart’s desires.

5 Commit everything you do to the Lord.
Trust him, and he will help you.

23 The Lord directs the steps of the godly.
He delights in every detail of their lives.

24 Though they stumble, they will never fall,
for the Lord holds them by the hand.

Observation

The last time I checked the word “everything” meant “every single thing” and God has told us to commit every single thing that we do to Him.

He does not say to us, “be half way committed to me” and I will bless you.

God wants us to be “all in” when it comes to our commitment to Him!

Today is Saturday. Tomorrow is Sunday. It is the Lord's Day.

Will we be in church to worship Him or will we worship something else – somewhere else!

Every step of our obedience to God comes with a great promise of blessing from Him!

Application

I will commit everything I do to the Lord. How about you?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I will trust in You. Lord, I will strive to do good. I will delight in You. And I will commit everything that I do to You. For every step of my obedience to You comes with a great promise of blessing from You. You promise to give me the desires of my heart. You promise to help me. You promise to direct my steps. You promise to pick me up when I stumble and You promise to hold me by my hand. So why wouldn't I commit everything I do to You! You are an Awesome God!
