Servant Of The Lord Must Not Quarrel But Must Be Kind

Everyone, Be Able To Teach,
And
Be Patient With Difficult People.
Scripture
2
Timothy 2
24
A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone,
be able to teach, and be patient with
difficult people.
Observation
It
is easy to love the lovely, but it is hard to love the difficult
people in your life.
Dr.
Waylon B. Moore, my spiritual Dad, once said, “God places difficult
people in your life and uses them as “spiritual sandpaper” to
shape us and sand off our rough edges to make us more and more like
Jesus.
Let's
learn how to deal with difficult people. Let's learn how to be
patient with them because God is going to use them to make us more
like His Son Jesus Christ.
If
you leave a job, a church, a marriage, because of a difficult person
there will be another difficult person in your next job, in your next
church, or in your next marriage. Don't run from them!
Application
God
is working on me through the difficult people He has placed in my
life!
How
about you? How are you handling the “spiritual sandpaper” that
God has placed in your life?
Prayer
Heavenly
Father, help me deal with people in my life who are difficult, who
are demanding and who are disappointing. I realize that they really
are my “spiritual sandpaper”. Give me the capacity to love them
as You would love them. I pray for them and want You to help them.
Bless them, Lord.
I
pray for any person reading this blog that is struggling with a
difficult person in his or her life. Give them patience. Give them
strength. Give them Your wisdom. Help them to grow spiritually as
they deal with this person(s).

5 or rude.
It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no
record of being wronged.
7 Love never
gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through
every circumstance.
