So Let Us Come Boldly To The Throne Of Our Gracious God. There We Will Receive His Mercy, And We Will Find Grace To Help Us When We Need It Most.

So Let Us Come Boldly To The Throne Of Our Gracious God.
There We Will Receive His Mercy,
And We Will Find Grace To Help Us When We Need It Most.
Scripture
Hebrews 4
12 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.
14 So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe.
15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin.
16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
Observation

There is so much in these five verses! I hope you will take time to read them over and over again and let the truth of what God is saying to us sink in. It is just what I am doing right now.

You don't think that anyone understands what you are going through – nobody gets it! Oh yes, there is!

There is Someone and He understands exactly what You and I are going through and He tells us precisely what we need to do. His name is Jesus!

He tells us to boldly take our problem(s) to the very throne of God where we can receive God's mercy and help in time of need.

Application
I am never alone. I also know that nothing touches my life that is not first filtered through my Heavenly Father. He is constantly at work in my life. I am one of His children. I have direct access to my Heavenly Fathers's throne because of Jesus Christ.
How about you? Do you find encouragement in the promises of these five verses?

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I am so glad that You have promised to never leave me or forsake me. I know that You are on my side. Everything that happens to me, no matter how bad, You will turn it around for my good. I know it because You have promised it. (Romans 8:28)
I pray for those who are going through difficult times right now. I pray for those who are sick. Use these verses in Hebrews 4 to encourage them. I pray that they will cling to Your promises and believe. Increase their faith!
Daily Bible Reading: Philemon; Hebrews 1,2,3,4
