Finishing The Work Assigned To Me By The Lord Jesus –

24 But
my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work
assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good
News about the wonderful grace of God.
Observation
I
hope that Acts 20:24 is a description of what your life is all about.
It is what I want my life to be all about!
When
I am gone, when I have drawn my last breath on this earth I want
people talking about how I helped them in their walk with Jesus. I
don't want them talking about how I liked to fish or anything else
like that.
I
do enjoy fishing but that is not what I want to be known for!
Application
I
want people to be able to say that I helped them to know Jesus and
that I also helped them to be more like Jesus!
How

Prayer
Heavenly
Father, help me to be all that You want me to be. Don't let me settle
for less. Don't let me get sidetracked. Don't let me get bogged down
with trivial, unimportant stuff. I want to count for You. My
life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work
assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good
News about Your wonderful grace!
