Through
This
Man Jesus There Is Forgiveness For Your Sins.

38 “Brothers,
listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is
forgiveness for your sins.
39 Everyone
who believes in him is made right in God’s sight—something the
law of Moses could never do.
Isaiah
53
2 My servant
grew up in the Lord’s presence like a tender green shoot, like
a root in dry ground. There was nothing beautiful or majestic about
his appearance, nothing to attract us to him.
3 He was
despised and rejected—a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest
grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was
despised, and we did not care.
4 Yet
it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him
down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a
punishment for his own sins!
5 But
he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten
so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.
6 All
of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to
follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us
all.
Observation
700
years before the birth of Jesus Christ the prophet Isaiah prophesied
about Jesus' coming to this Earth and Isaiah wrote about why Jesus
came!
It
is not good people that go to Heaven and bad people that go to Hell;
it is forgiven people that go to Heaven and forgiveness can only be
found in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
If
you were to die today where would you spend eternity? Heaven –
Hell?
Application
I
am here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness
for your sins. (Acts 13:38 personalized)

Prayer
Heavenly
Father, most of the people that I talk to think or at least hope that
being good is going to somehow get them into Heaven. I am so happy
when I hear that someone has made a decision to trust in Jesus as his
or her Lord and Savior because I know that they have finally realized
that Jesus, and faith in Him alone, is the only way to have Eternal
Life. I also realize that You are the only One who can save and that
is why I will never give up praying for the people I love and who are
still living like You do not exist. Save them, Lord. Open up their
spiritual eyes so that they can see the Truth.
