Micah 5-7; Hebrews 7

Hebrews 7:25 “Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.”
Observation
Jesus Christ is able to save us completely! After reading Hebrews 6 one might think that a person could lose their salvation, but verse 25 of chapter 7 shows that Christ saves us and keeps us. He is constantly interceding for us. He is going to make sure that everyone that puts their faith and trust in Him has eternal life and will live with Him forever!
Application
There are a few passages in the Bible that are difficult to understand and seem to say that someone could lose their salvation. It is good to be reminded that God is the one that saves us. We don’t deserve salvation. It is His free gift. We are sinners that deserve to go to Hell, but He doesn’t give us what we deserve if we accept His Son. He does that because He is a God of Mercy. He gives us what we cannot earn, “Eternal life” because He is God of Grace. Our part in the equation is faith. Our salvation never depends on our good works, not to obtain salvation or to maintain our salvation.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for saving me. I don’t deserve your Love, your Mercy, or your Grace. Help me to share with others what I have received. Thank you for saving me completely and for constantly praying for me and other believers. Help me to finish well. Help me to bring you Glory and Honor today.
