OK… Do You Know Someone Who Is Going Through A Difficult Time?

Scripture

2 Corinthians 1

³ All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. ⁴ He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.

Observation

When someone experiences a death of a loved one or when someone goes through a very difficult time whether it might be a health issue or a relationship crisis my mind always goes back to this verse. God is the God of all comfort and compassion. I don’t know how many thousand times I have repeated that truth during difficult times. 

He is there for us. He will be there for you and your family when you need Him. 

He comforts us in all of our troubles so that we can comfort others. Lets do it.  

Application

I will reach out to someone today who is going through a difficult time.  

Prayer

Heavenly Father, You are the God of all comfort and all compassion. You use us to comfort others too. Help me be a comfort to this person who has just received some difficult news about his health. You are Healer. You are Mighty and Strong. Nothing is too hard for you!
