Back
To God
Scripture
2 Corinthians 5
20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” 21 For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.
Observation
Maybe
this message is for you this morning. Yes, maybe you need to come back to God?
Letting
God be first in your life, getting back to church on Sundays – maybe that is
the message you need to hear this morning.
“Come
back to God!” is a message for everyone not just you!
We
are Christ’s ambassadors and God is going to use us to make His appeal. We are
His only plan. He has no plan “B”!
Who
do we need to encourage today to come back to God?
God
makes His appeal to them through us!
You
and I are R.A.’s, “God’s Royal Ambassadors!”
Application
I
will be Christ’s ambassador and I will encourage the people that God brings
across my path to “Come back to God.” How about you?
Prayer
Heavenly
Father, I want to be a good ambassador for You. Help me to look for opportunities
to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with those around me. Don’t let me miss
anyone that You send my way. You are the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. You
are worthy of all praise!
