4 I
always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers,
6 I
pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in
deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the
sake of Christ.
7 Your
love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you,
brother, have refreshed the hearts of the Lord’s people.
Observation
As
I write this this morning I am thinking about you. There are so many
people that God has brought into my life, special people, like
Philemon and Onesimus were to the Apostle Paul.
Only followers of Christ have this kind of relationship. If you are
not a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ you have no idea what I am
even talking about!
Philemon
verses 4-7 are my prayer for you this morning! Thank you for
partnering with us over all these years. God is good. All the time! I
praise God for bringing you into our lives!
Application
I
will pray for my friends!
How
about you? Will you take time to pray for those who God has brought
into your life to partner with you?
Prayer
Heavenly
Father, I am so grateful for every person that You have brought into
our lives. We are blessed. We are so rich in friends. You are so good
to us, Lord. I always thank You
as I remember our friends in my prayers. I pray that their
partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening their
understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ.
Their
love has given Kathy and I great joy and encouragement. Their love
