Hope
Is
A Strong And Trustworthy Anchor
For
Our Souls.
Scripture
Hebrews
6
18 So
God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are
unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we
who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold
to the hope that lies before us.
19 This
hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us
through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.
20 Jesus
has already gone in there for us. He has become our eternal High
Priest in the order of Melchizedek.
Observation
Hope
… with everything that is going on around us … we definitely need
hope! And we are not going to find hope with our local, state, or
national politicians. They tend to say one thing one day and change
what they say the next.
We
need to place our hope in Someone who is unchangeable … Someone who
always keeps His Word … Who always keeps everyone of His promises
and He has given us thousands of them in His Word!
Application
My
hope is in God … my strong and trustworthy anchor for my soul!

Prayer
Heavenly
Father, You are my refuge and strength. I will not fear when
earthquakes come and mountains crumble into the sea. You have given
given me hope. I have a strong anchor for my soul!
