Revelation 14

3 This great choir sang a wonderful new song in front of the throne of God and before the four living beings and the twenty-four elders. No one could learn this song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. 4 They have kept themselves as pure as virgins, following the Lamb wherever he goes. They have been purchased from among the people on the earth as a special offering to God and to the Lamb.

Observation

Have you ever noticed that people like to sing what they are comfortable with and what they already know? If you bring in new songs and new music to a worship service then you might just hear rumblings and murmurings from a few in the congregation. ! It is an odd phenomenon!

God loves new songs! When we get to heaven there is going to be a great choir in front of the throne of God and they are going to be singing a new song!

God loves music. He has put music and songs in our hearts.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, help me enjoy music and don’t ever let me get to where new songs bother me. I pray that today You will put a song in my heart that I can sing to you. You are Worthy of Praise. You are Worthy to be worshiped through a new song. In Jesus Name Amen.
