Pray for One Another!

Scripture

John 17:20
"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,

Observation

Jesus prayed for me! He also continues to pray for me! Hebrews 7:25 “Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.” I didn’t deserve to be saved. I still don’t deserve the salvation that I have. Jesus loves me just as I am. He prays for me so that I don’t stay just as I am! Prayer and intercession was so important to Jesus.

Application

Jesus is interceding right now for me. I need to follow his example and intercede for others. It is our most important work!

Prayer

Father, thank you for letting me know through your Word that Jesus continues to talk to you on my behalf. Please bring to my mind the people that I need to pray for.

Pastor Eddy, I truly believe that my survival when I first came to Tampa Baptist was solely due to the powerful and fervent prayer of the church body. Without their prayers I don't think I had enough faith to get through the extrememly tough times that hit me right after I accepted Jesus. But knowing that Truth, that God answers prayers, has helped me build a prayer life of my own! God Bless Tampa Baptist Church! Love in Christ, Jess

Pastor Eddy - Thanks again for a blog I needed - I had some issues today at work and I was down for about 2 1/2 hours when I thought - I better look for something to pick me up! And I thought I hope Eddy is back to blogging and you were and it was the message I needed! The power of Prayer. When I am down I have to remember to go to prayer and ask someone else to pray for me. I asked my mom and you know I feel 100% better already! Thanks for your blogs. And PS: Keep my friend Dave in prayer - I am so excited he has come to church now twice it's a big deal! We've been asking him for years!

Eddy,

Eleanor Brown is doing so much better! What a woman she is! I sat with her for 4 hours tonight. The time flew by!

At first, I wanted to go straight home and hit my bed, but I prayed for God to give me the strength and to relieve my pain and I drove straight to the rehab center.

She is growing stronger everyday physically, mentally and spiritually. She is so happy to be feeling more like her old self, but yet spiritually just as strong if not stronger!

I finally had to leave because she made me laugh and smile so much my jaw hurt too bad! Before I left, I grabbed her hands and asked her if I could pray with her! WOW!!!
I have come a long way in my prayer life! I am still very reserved and self concious in front of others, but I am making strides everyday!!!!

Thank You for your help and support! Especially with your Blog!

Love You and Kathy and TBC!!

Sandra,

I am glad that Dave is coming. It was good having Devin in R.A.'s! I have just got our computer up and running at Kathy's Mom's house. So I will be able to get back to posting my journal.

Beth,

I am glad that you have stayed with Eleanor Brown.

I just got our computer working here at the house. The room that I have been working on is slowing getting close to being finished.

Thanks for your servant's heart!
