The Faithful Love Of The LORD Never Ends! His Mercies Never Cease.
Great Is His Faithfulness;
His Mercies Begin Afresh Each Morning.
Scripture
22 The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease.
23 Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each morning.
24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance;
therefore, I will hope in him!”
Observation
No
matter how badly we messed up yesterday we have a God that is willing to start
all over with us “afresh” today! His mercies begin afresh each morning! Great
is His faithfulness.
Each
morning that we are fortunate enough to wake up starts a new day! Each morning
gives us the chance to say to ourselves, “The LORD is my inheritance;
therefore, I will hope in Him!”
How
about today? Need a fresh start? Why not meditate all day today on verse 23 and
pray it back to God, “Great is His Faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each
morning.”
Okay
you messed up yesterday! Today is a new day! Give this day to the LORD.
Application
I will say to myself, “The LORD is my inheritance, therefore,
I will hope in Him today!”
Prayer
Heavenly Father, today I want to be guided by Your voice.
I want to be directed by Your Holy Spirit. Don’t let me mess up today. You have
said in Your Word that You are good to those who depend
on You, to those who search for You. So
it is good to wait quietly for salvation from You. Lamentations 3:25-26
