Your Father,
Who Gave You Life
I
hope my kids are reading this! There is a tendency in our culture to think that
the older a person gets the less relevant they become. I can tell you that when
Kathy and I were first married it was the older couples that God brought into
our lives that helped us the most. They were so wise!
Kathy and I now have 5 grown kids and 10 grandkids! Our prayer is that God will give us real wisdom to share with them and God will put a desire in their hearts to listen.

Observation
I

I
have regrets when it comes to listening, or more accurately “not listening” to
my parents. Even though my Dad and my Mom were not Christians when I was
growing up I still could have learned so much more from them if I had only
listened.

Application
I will continue to offer advice to my kids and grandkids
and pray that it is worth them listening to it. How about you?
