Scripture

Malachi 3

10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!

Observation

This is the only place in scripture I think where God says, “Put Me to the test!” God says to us today that if we will give to Him what belongs to Him then He will bless us more than we can even imagine! And He says, “Just try it, put Me to the test!”

How about this verse in Luke:

If you give, you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use in giving—large or small—it will be used to measure what is given back to you." Luke 6:38

Application

I will trust Him by giving Him more. I will look for where He wants me to give more.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we cannot out give You …period…end of story. Help me give more and more away and spend less and less on myself.
