Your Sacrifice To God …

23 But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. …
Observation
Have
you ever thought of being thankful to God and it being as a “sacrifice” to Him?
God says it twice in Psalm 50.
So
thinking back to yesterday was there a time when you and I took time to give
thanks to the Lord. And I don’t meaa when we may have mumbled out a blessing
before we ate one of our meals.
You
and I need to be in the habit of giving thanks continually for all that God has
done, all that He is doing, and all that He will do for us in the future. God
accepts “thanksgiving” as a sacrifice.
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray
about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
[7] If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more
wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts
and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philip. 4:6-7
Application
I will give thanks to my God today … all day long!

Heavenly Father,
I pray this Psalm back to You today:
Shout with joy
to the Lord, O earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing
with joy. Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his
pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and bless his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love
continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. Psalm
100:1-5
