You Say You Have Faith, For You Believe That There Is One God. Good For You! Even The Demons Believe This, And They Tremble In Terror.

You Say You Have Faith, For You Believe That There Is One God.
Good For You!
Even The Demons Believe This, And They Tremble In Terror.
Scripture
James 2
19 You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror.
Observation
Are you like the person described in James 2:19?
If someone were to ask you, “Do you believe in God?”, would your answer to them be “Yeah, I believe that there is a God”, but does your life say otherwise?
Okay, it is true that even demons believe … so is that where you are at right now?
Don't blame your unbelief on your parents, or on your spouse, or on anything or on anyone else … it is you!
You and I, each and every day have the choice ... yes ... we have the choice, to change the direction of our lives.
God loves us. God has a plan for our lives. He wants us to live our life walking in obedience to Him. He has given us the play book for our life (it is called the Bible) and if we follow it, our lives will be blessed.
If me, you or someone else rejects God and refuses to live for God, then God unfortunately lets us do just that.
I am praying for some of you right now that have decided for some weird reason that you are smarter than the God that created you.
Hey buddy ... your family needs you to come back to God … they desperately need you to live for Him.
Application
I will never give up praying for those close to me who are living like God does not exist.
How about you?
Prayer

Heavenly Father, please do whatever it takes for those in my family to believe and cry out to You. Melt their hard hearts, Lord. Show them that You do exist. Show them that they can trust You with all of their heart. Bring people into their lives who will speak truth into their lives and help them to see where they are headed if they do not turn to You. You do the impossible all the time. Nothing is too hard for You. Please change the direction of their lives. Please save them from an empty life, a life that will end in destruction.
