I Saw A Vast Crowd, Too Great To Count, From Every Nation And Tribe And People And Language, Standing In Front Of The Throne And Before The Lamb.

I Saw A Vast Crowd, Too Great To Count,
From Every Nation And Tribe And People And Language,
Standing In Front Of The Throne And Before The Lamb.
Scripture
Revelation 7
9 After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands. 10 And they were shouting with a mighty shout, “Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!”
Observation

This is what I wrote on September 2, 2018. This was the month before Kathy and I were approved to serve as missionaries in India. My heart attack a few days after being approved to go radically changed our plans. But you can tell that it was on my heart as I read Revelation 7:9-10 on this day seven years ago.
Here is what Heaven is going to look like, “a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands.”
People from every nation and tribe and people and language will be there so we need to get busy. There are still more people to reach. There are still people groups that need to hear the Good News.
Once the last people group hears the Gospel then Jesus is coming back!
Will you go? Will you help someone else go? Will you pray for those that are going?”
Application
I want to go. I want to go to an unreached people group and help them know Jesus. (my application on September 2, 2011)
...
I would still love to go, but I realize that is no longer a possibility, so I will still help someone else to go and I will continue to pray for missionaries already on the field.
How about you?
Prayer
(My prayer on September 2, 2011)
Heavenly Father, I want to go. I pray that You let me go. I pray that you direct us to just the place where You want us to serve. Send us to the people that need to hear. I pray that You throw open the doors that have been shut so we might be able to serve You in a place that doesn't have the opportunity of having a church on every corner. Send us to a place where the Gospel needs to be proclaimed. We wait on You.
My prayer today:
Heavenly Father, You are a good, good Father. Thank You for allowing me to live another 7 years. And even though we can't go and live in another country like we had planned there is still plenty of people to reach here in our city where we live. Thank You for giving me good enough health to still serve You. And thank You for giving us a great church that wants to reach our city for Christ.
Daily Bible Reading: Ezekiel 17; Ezekiel 18; Ezekiel 19; Revelation 7
