Mark 10 

⁴⁵ For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Observation

Do you plan to serve God this week? How do you serve God? You serve God by serving the people around you!

People that have servant hearts are so refreshing to be around! People that always want to be served are very hard to be around.

Our built in default button (our old nature) always has us inclined to letting people do things for us, but our new nature gives us the strength and desire to serve others.

Today is Monday. It is a great day to think of someone(s) who needs our encouragement.

I will think of a way to serve someone today. How about you?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, help me to encourage someone today. Give me Your heart for those around me today. I pray for those that Kathy and I will talk to at Mission Tampa this morning. I pray that You give them understanding. Give them hearts open to receive the Good News of Jesus Christ.
