Drink Water From Your Own Well – Share Your Love Only With Your Wife.

Drink Water
From Your Own Well –
Share Your Love Only With Your Wife.
Scripture
Proverbs 5
3 For the lips of an immoral woman are as sweet as honey,
and her mouth is smoother than oil.
4 But in the end she is as bitter as poison,
as dangerous as a double-edged sword.
5 Her feet go down to death;
her steps lead straight to the grave.
6 For she cares nothing about the path to life.
She staggers down a crooked trail and doesn’t realize it.
15 Drink water from your own well—
share your love only with your wife.
16 Why spill the water of your springs in the streets,
    having sex with just anyone?
17 You should reserve it for yourselves.
    Never share it with strangers.
18 Let your wife be a fountain of blessing for you.
Rejoice in the wife of your youth.
19 She is a loving deer, a graceful doe.
Let her breasts satisfy you always.
May you always be captivated by her love.
20 Why be captivated, my son, by an immoral woman,
or fondle the breasts of a promiscuous woman?
21 For the Lord sees clearly what a man does,
    examining every path he takes.
Observation
Let your wife be a fountain of blessing for you. Rejoice in the wife of your youth. She is a loving deer, a graceful doe. Let her breasts satisfy you always. May you always be captivated by her love. Why be captivated, my son, by an immoral woman, or fondle the breasts of a promiscuous woman?” Proverbs 5:18-20
A word to all of us married men – be faithful to the wife that God has given us. The grass is not greener on the other side of the fence. Take care of and enjoy the grass on our side of the fence! Let's cultivate and take care of what God has given us!
Mother's Day is a week away. But every day should be mother's day. Especially if she is the mother of your children. Do something special for her. Doesn't have to be expensive – just special.
You and I have a week to think about it!
Application
I will always be captivated by my wife's love!
How about you?
Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me a wife who loves me and makes it easy to stay on my side of the fence. I don't deserve it. Help me love her in a way that makes You smile. I know that she is a gift from You.
I pray for those who are struggling in their relationship with their spouse. Help them, Lord. Help them to do all that they can to cultivate and work on their relationship. Don't let them give up!
