“… Your Blood
Has Ransomed People For God
From Every Tribe And Language And People And Nation.”
Scripture
9 And they sang a new song with these words:
“You are worthy to take the scroll
and break its seals and open it.
For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed people for God
from every tribe and language and people and nation.
10 And you have caused them to become
a Kingdom of priests for our God.
And they will reign on the earth.”
Observation
Jesus Christ has paid the ransom for us and not only for
us but also for people from every tribe, language, people, and nation. I think
that the word “every” that we read in verse 9 is huge!
Every day I read and pray for an unreached people group I
pray with the confidence of knowing that one-day they will have the opportunity
to hear the Gospel and some of them will trust Christ. There is not a group of
people that is going to be left out. Every nation and people group will have
the opportunity to hear about Jesus.
The book of Revelation is all about Victory. The victory
has already been won. We are victors. As followers of Jesus Christ we are on
the winning team.
Application
I
will share the Gospel with confidence knowing that God is working in the lives
of those who listen.
Prayer
Heavenly
Father, Your Word says, “For there is no difference between Jew and
Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
How,
then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe
in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone
preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is
written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
Romans 10:12-15
