Angels Are Only Servants –
Spirits Sent
To Care For People Who Will Inherit Salvation
Scripture
14 Therefore, angels are only servants—spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.
Observation
What
do you believe about Angels?
I
know some people seem to worship Angels. You may even think that the angel
statue in your house brings you good luck.
It
is easy to get sidetracked and begin to worship the created rather than the
Creator!
The
book of Hebrews makes the point that Jesus Christ, God Himself, is the only One
worthy of worship. He is both Creator and Sustainer of everything and everyone!
Angels
are created beings that have their purpose. Their purpose is to care for us –
those of us who are followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Application
I
will pray directly to my Heavenly Father this morning. I get to do that because
Jesus Christ has provided me direct access to the Father through His death on
the cross for my sins. How about you?
Prayer
Heavenly
Father, You have created us for a relationship with You, that is why we have
breath today. You want us to know You intimately. Thank You for giving me
Eternal Life. Thank You for allowing angels to take care of me and all others
that call on Your name.
