It is not what
a man thinks and says of himself that is important. It is what God
thinks of him.
Observation
You
and I can sometimes fool the people around us. We can pretend to be
something we aren't. We can be deceived into thinking that we are
more important than we really are. And we can definitely think more
of ourselves than we ought.
The
Apostle Paul says that when we brag about ourselves and about our own
accomplishments it doesn't count for much.
What
is really important is what God thinks about me and what God thinks
about you!
You
and I serve an audience of One! Let's live to please Him!

Application
I
want God to smile at how I live out this day! I want to live in a way
that honors Him and brings Him glory.

Heavenly
Father, all
glory to You, because You are able, through Your mighty power at
work within me, to accomplish infinitely more than I might ask or
think. (Ephesians 3:20 personalized) Help me to live
out this day in a way that brings You glory and honor. I want to make
