Give
All
Your
Worries And Cares To God,
For
He Cares About You.

Peter 5
6 So
humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right
time he will lift you up in honor.
8 Stay
alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around
like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
9 Stand
firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your
family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind
of suffering you are.
Observation
You
and I have a choice. We can hold on to all of our worries and keep
worrying about them or we can give all of them to God. It is a choice
that we get to make! For me it is a no brainer, I am going to give
them to the only One who can do something about them!
Here
are some of my favorite Scriptures that I go to when I catch myself
worrying about something. Maybe they will encourage you!
Philippians
4:6-7
6 Don’t
worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what
you need, and thank him for all he has done.
7 Then you
will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can
understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in
Christ Jesus.
Psalm
55:22
22 Give your
burdens to the Lord,
and he will take care of you.
He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

Matthew
6:25-30,34
25 “That
is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have
enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more
than food, and your body more than clothing?
26 Look at
the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for
your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable
to him than they are?
28 “And
why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and
how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing,
30 And if
God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and
thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do
you have so little faith?
34 “So
don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own
worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.
Application
When
I catch myself worrying about something I will immediately take it to
the Lord in prayer.
How
about you? It is your choice?
Prayer
Heavenly
Father, You could have created us to be Super Heroes, but that was
not Your plan. You created us to be dependent on You. You want to be
our Heavenly Father. You want us to go to You when we have problems.
There are plenty of problems that are way bigger than we can handle.
Remind me to take all of my problems whether they are big or small to
You because I know that You care for me. You care about every detail
of my life.
I
pray for any person who may read this blog today. Help them not to
worry. Help them to take everything to You in prayer. Help them to
pray more and worry less.
