For He Is Our God. We Are The People He Watches Over, The Flock Under His Care.

For He Is Our God.
We Are The People He Watches Over,
The Flock Under His Care.
Scripture
Psalm 95
1 Come, let us sing to the Lord!
Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come to him with thanksgiving.
Let us sing psalms of praise to him.
3 For the Lord is a great God,
a great King above all gods.
4 He holds in his hands the depths of the earth
    and the mightiest mountains.
5 The sea belongs to him, for he made it.
His hands formed the dry land, too.
6 Come, let us worship and bow down.
Let us kneel before the Lord our maker,
7     for he is our God.
We are the people he watches over,
    the flock under his care.
If only you would listen to his voice today!
Observation

Mark this date on your calendar, Sunday June 7th! That is the day that Christ Fellowship Church starts meeting again for worship! I can't wait! If you don't have a church home and live close enough why don't you come join us!
We must get back to worshiping the Lord together and celebrating how He has taken care of us during this plague.
And don't worry we will be able to do it in a way that is safe for all of us! At least I am sure that it will be a lot safer than going to the grocery store!
Come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him. For the Lord is a great God, a great King above all gods.”
The Body of Christ was not designed for isolation – it is not in our DNA! We will come together! We will worship!
Application
I will worship today. I will worship right now.
How about you? Will you take time to worship God today?
Psalm 118:24
This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Prayer

Heavenly Father, the Body of Christ, the church, is not our idea. Our church coming together to worship brings You great joy. We were created for worship. You alone are worthy of our worship.

I pray for our people. We have been isolated way too long. Move in every heart to give them the desire to be back in church on Sunday, June 7th. Give our leaders wisdom in how to get us back together safely.

I pray that so many people would want to come that we would have to add worship services just to safely worship You. You are worthy of our worship! Only You are worthy! I give You praise!
