Fear God,
Who Has The Power To Kill You
And Then Throw You Into Hell

Quite a few people today want to say that Hell doesn’t exist! Hmm! I guess they have never read the words of Jesus Christ found in the Gospel of Luke chapter 12! I think even one of the Presidential candidates has come out and stated that he doesn’t believe in Hell! Heaven or Hell? If you were to die today where would you spend eternity? Scripture

Luke 12

⁴ “Dear friends, don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot do any more to you after that. ⁵ But I’ll tell you whom to fear. Fear God, who has the power to kill you and then throw you into hell. Yes, he’s the one to fear.

⁶ “What is the price of five sparrows—two copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. ⁷ And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.

Observation

Quite a few people today want to say that Hell doesn’t exist! Hmm! I guess they have never read the words of Jesus Christ found in the Gospel of Luke chapter 12! I think even one of the Presidential candidates has come out and stated that he doesn’t believe in Hell!

Here is the truth about Heaven and Hell: 1. It is not good people that go to Heaven and bad people that go to Hell. 2. It is only forgiven people that are allowed to have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and they will live forever in a place called Heaven. And God also promises us (followers of Jesus Christ) a full and meaningful life here on Earth.

Romans 8:1-4 So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. For the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you through Christ Jesus from the power of sin that leads to death. The Law of Moses could not save us because of our sinful nature. But God put into effect a different plan to save us. He sent his own Son in a human body like ours, except that ours is sinful. God destroyed sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins. He did this so that the requirement of the law would be fully accomplished for us who no longer follow our sinful nature, but instead follow the Spirit.

Application

I believe in a very real Hell just as much as I believe in a place called Heaven.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for allowing me the privilege of hearing the Good News about Jesus Christ. Thank You for the salvation I have because of what Christ did for me on the cross. Help anyone that may be reading this blog to understand the spiritual truth of Heaven and Hell. Help them to make a decision to follow Christ today. Give them the spiritual understanding for them to make the right choice today so that they do not die in their sins.
